MEET THE OWNER
Hello, and thank you for visiting our site. I'm David Matina, founder of Lone Star DJs of Fort Worth, and I have been in the entertainment business for the past twenty-two years running this locally owned company. Music has always been an important part of my life, and has blessed me with the opportunity to make people happy on their special days. What an awesome challenge and responsiblity! With more than two decades of experience, I know I have the ability to make that happen. Now I would like the opportunity to make your event special!
No matter what type of event you are having, we can help you make it wonderful! I just recently retired from the Fort Worth Independent School District after serving thirty years in education; therefore, I know how important lyrical content is to school sponsors for any age group. We understand the importance of blending our young people's music appropriately. Happy sponsors and a happy student body have been a top priority and key ingredient to our success. LSDJs promise to deliver on corporate parties, Christmas parties, reunions, school dances, birthday parties, promotions, and best of all... weddings! We love making brides happy! Whatever your group needs are, we have the music to make your crowd happy, and rarely do we miss on a request when asked. THE COMPANY
Lone Star DJs of Fort Worth serves the whole of North Texas and surrounding areas, and has grown over the past twenty-two years. Yes we will travel. We have performed in five states and counting, panning the "Lone Star State", to east Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and up to Iowa. We have driven to Dallas in an ice storm on slippery icy roads no one would travel on on New Year's Eve because we absolutely had to make that party happen! Why, because you are important and we won't let you down! We will arrive early to ensure our equipment is working perfectly at the start of your event. Also, we offer "Radio Edited" music, and do not play "parental advisory" lyrics at school events. Our music library is extensive ranging from music of the forties through the Millenium. We are always updating our equipment. A DJ is only as good as his tools, and we use only the best - the best music and the best equipment. Lighting is available upon request, and speaking of requests - we do take requests! One of our strongest attributes is being able to match music to the crowd. We are not "chatter boxes" nor are we the star of the show, but we are interactive and not afraid to use the microphone. We will perform as Master of Ceremonies, and we will do a great job!
